2011 RESUMPTION DETAILS AND RESUMPTION DATE FOR THE 2011 ACADEMIC SESSION !!!
Date of Resumption: Sunday 15th April, 2012
Registration/Orientation: Monday – Friday 16th – 20th April, 2012
Commencement of Lectures: Tuesday 17th April, 2012
Upon their arrival, all new cadets are expected to report to the Regimental Unit Commander (RUC) for registration formalities, accommodation and other instructions.
Any new cadet who fails to report after the expiration of one (1) month from the date of resumption would be considered as having forfeited his/her admission.
Payment of Fees
All new cadets are expected to pay their fees within the first two (2) weeks of resumption. Fee schedules for all programmes are available in the Academy and our two Liaison Offices at the following addresses:

PROVISION OF BEDDINGS:
As a matter of policy, the provision of Beddings are the responsibility of individual cadets. Therefore, all new cadets are expected to provide themselves with the following items of beddings which must be presented for inspection on resumption:
a) 1No (new) blanket
b) 2 Nos. Bed Sheets (White)
c) 4 Nos. Pillow Cases (White).
Supplementary Interview
This is to inform all candidates who took but fail the interview for admission conducted in December, 2011 that a Supplementary Interview will be conducted strictly for those candidates as follows:
1.Arrival Date: Saturday 11th February, 2012
2.Interview 12th – 22nd February, 2012
3.Venue: Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron
On arrival, all candidates are expected to report to the Regimental Unit Commander (RUC) of the Academy for registration, accommodation and instructions:
Requirements for the Interview
Candidates are requested to report for the interview with the following items:
i) Original and photo-copies of credentials (including First School Leaving Certificate)
ii) Original and photo-copy of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration.
iii) Original and photo-copy of Certificates of Local Government/State of Origin.
iv) Personal Photo Card Print out
v) A pair of White Canvas and Socks
vi) White Short and Vest
vii) Blanket
viii) Bucket and Drinking Cup
ix) Toiletories
Note: Medical Examination would be conducted at the venue of the interview. Candidates are therefore requested to come with the sum of N5,000.00 medical fee to be paid at the venue.
FEEDING/ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation would be provided to all candidates while arrangement would be made in respect of feeding on pay-as-you-eat basis. However, candidates are expected to come with sufficient amount of money for their feeding.
